A Resolution Authorizing THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AT

TURNBERRY LANE @ VETERANS PARKWAY. whereas, Resolution No. 456-03 authorized a Quit Claim Deed to the Department of

Transportation for the acceleration and deceleration lanes on the eastern right

of way of Veterans Parkway;
whereas, the Department of Transportation has requested additional ownership that

attaches the acceleration and deceleration lanes across Turnberry Lane since

this is a State Highway.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

The Mayor of Columbus, Georgia is hereby authorized to execute a Quit Claim

Deed at Turnberry Lane @ Veterans Parkway to the Department of Transportation,

as shown on attached Plat dated March 25, 2004.
