A Resolution Authorizing A RESOLUTION COVERING CITY RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION. whereas, the Department of Transportation will assist the City of Columbus, Georgia, a
consolidated City/County Government, in County Contract to re-construct
Williams/Whitesville RoadIntersection Improvement Project, State Aid Project
PRC-S007-00(243); and,
whereas, the Georgia Department of Transportation has agreed to pay an estimated amount
of $250,000.00. The City will pay the balance of the Bid amount (if Bid price
is acceptable) to be paid out of the Paving Supported Capital Project Fund and
CBA lease Revenue Bonds At that time, a request for approval will be brought
to Council for approval.; and
WHEREAS, the project will extend wholly within the corporate limits of
Columbus, Georgia, under the laws of the State of Georgia.
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a City Right of Way
Agreement and subsequent agreements necessary to implement the project with the
Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) for a County Contract to re-construct
Williams/Whitesville Road Intersection Improvement Project, State Aid Project
No. PRC-10-S007-00(243) Muscogee County.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the _________ day of _____________ and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of _____________ members of said Council.
