A Resolution Authorizing A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO ERECT A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITY (TOWER) FOR

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SERVICES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1720 Warm Springs Road. whereas, TLC Communications has appropriately applied for a Special Exception Use to

erect a wireless communications tower for wireless communication services on

the property described above; and,
whereas, transmission towers for communication towers are permitted solely as a Special

Exception Use under the current C-2 (Neighborhood Shopping) District; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:



That all the criteria of Section 22.26.2(G.4.d) have been substantially met and that a Special Exception Use for a communication tower for wireless communication service is granted for the property located at 1720 Warm Springs Road provided the maximum height of the tower is 140 feet and existing vegetation is left undisturbed for as long as a tower is located on the site. If existing vegetation is disturbed or dies, a landscaped buffer which complies with the requirements of the Wireless Communication Ordinance Shall be planted.


Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the ______ day of ______ and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of  _____ members of said Council.
