A Resolution Authorizing TO DECLARE 0.215 ACRES "FORMERLY KNOWN AS PART OF HAMILTON ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY"

18TH STREET AND VETERANS PARKWAY IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA AS

SURPLUS AND EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO DOCTORS HOSPITAL FOR SAID PROPERTY,

SUBJECT TO EXISTING EASEMENTS. whereas, the 5th Avenue Right of Way indicate a need to acquire right of way leaving a

0.215 +/- acre remnant; and,
whereas, said remnant serves no useful purpose to the Columbus Consolidated Government

and it is considered to be in the best interest of Columbus, Georgia to Quit

Claim said property to the Doctors Hospital; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to declare property

"formerly known as Part of Hamilton Road Right-of-Way" 18th Street & Veterans

Parkway containing 0.215 acres in Columbus Georgia as surplus and execute a

Quit Claim Deed to Doctors Hospital for said property, subject to existing

easements.
