A Resolution Authorizing THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO THAT VALLEY CREST COURT AND VALLEY CREST DRIVE
LOCATED IN VALLEY CREST SUBDIVISION AND THE ADDITIONAL FIVE (5') FEET PORTION
FOR THE WIDENING OF ST. MARY'S ROAD ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA. whereas, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying Valley Crest Court and
Valley Crest Drive located in Valley Crest Subdivision and the Additional Five
(5') Feet Portion for the widening of St. Mary's Road, a full description of
said property shown on said deed; and,
whereas, said streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for
acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said street and recommends
acceptance of same.
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to issue certain deed dated
the 8th day of June, 2005, conveying to Columbus, Georgia all of Valley Crest
Court and Valley Crest Drive located in Valley Crest Subdivision and the
Additional Five (5') Feet Portion for the widening of St. Mary's Road, be and
the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to have
said deed recorded in the Office of the Superior Court of Muscogee County,
Columbus, Georgia. A copy of said deed is hereto attached and by this
reference made a part of this resolution.
