A Resolution Authorizing TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS, THE EASTERN CONNECTOR AND VETERANS PARKWAY FROM MOON

ROAD TO TURNBERRY, BE MOVED INTO THE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP). whereas, these projects will improve the transportation system and open property for

industrial development; and,
whereas, the City will request the Georgia Department of Transportation provide funding

for these project by reallocating $8 million from the Forest Road Project.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to move Transportation

Projects, Eastern Connector and Veterans Parkway Projects, in the TIP and

request the Georgia Department of Transportation fund these projects by

reallocating $8 million from the Forest Road Project.
