A Resolution Authorizing A VARIANCE TO THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS FOR DEVELOPER RICHARD WADDELL IN
BLACKBURN RIDGE, SECTION FIVE. whereas, the developer has requested that the Department of Engineering initiate a
variance to the Subdivision Regulations from the minimum lot size and width as
defined for a rural subdivision in order to construct a rural type street; and,
whereas, many of the existing streets in the surrounding neighborhoods have rural
streets; and,
WHEREAS, the developer intends to construct only a short section of street;
and,
WHEREAS, a rural street section will aid in water quality; and,
WHEREAS, the Departments of Engineering and Planning have reviewed this
variance and concur the variance be granted.
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to grant the developer,
Richard Waddell, approval for a variance to the Subdivision Regulations to
construct a rural type street. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to
have said variance recorded in the records in the office of the Clerk of the
Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
