A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY TO PURCHASE PROPERTY FROM WALTER G. HEWELL AT 1015 BROADWAY A/K/A

004-018-004 OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA. whereas, the City needs the property to access flat surface parking on Front Avenue;

and,
whereas, the City will grant an easement to the two side doors of 1019 Broadway to the

seller Walter G. Hewell; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Consolidated Government of

Columbus, Georgia to purchase this property.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to purchases property located at

1015 Broadway with the value of the property determined to be $140,000 and is

further authorized to grant an easement to Walter G. Hewell for access to the

two (2) side doors adjacent to 1015 Broadway.
