A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH FOUNDATION PROPERTIES

(PROPERTIES) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1015 BROADWAY FOR $120 PER YEAR. whereas, In connection with the proposed construction by Properties of student housing

at 1019 Broadway, Properties is in need of the use of the real estate located

at 1015 Broadway, which is currently owned by the City; and,
whereas, The City is willing to lease the property to Properties and Properties is

willing to accept the property and construct student housing, subject to the

terms and conditions set forth herein.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to enter into a

Memorandum of Understanding for a lease agreement with Foundation Properties

for property located at 1015 Broadway for $120 per year.
