A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY TO TRANSFER ALL PROPERTY ON BLANCHARD BOULEVARD CURRENTLY IN THE NAME

OF THE CITY TO THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE 10+/- ACRES

IDENTIFIED AND LEASED TO THE RUGBY TEAM IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, The "City owns the property; and,
whereas, the City no longer needs the property and the property is needed by the

Development Authority for economic development; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the city to transfer the property to the

Development Authority.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to declare surplus and transfer City

owned property on Blanchard Boulevard to the Development Authority, this does

not include 10+/- acres identified on the plat attached hereto as Rugby Field,

and file the Deed with Superior Court Clerk for permanent record.
