A Resolution Authorizing THE ABANDONMENT OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED ALONG THE REAR

PROPERTY LINE OF 4669 SEARS ROAD LOT 9, BLOCK "K" SECTION NINE AND ALSO ALONG

THE REAR PROPERTY LINE OF 60 BENEFIELD COURT LOT 38, BLOCK "K" SECTION TEN,

SEARS WOODS, COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA, TO DR. EDWARD MATTHEWS. whereas, all public utilities have sent written confirmation relinquishing their rights

to the drainage and utility easements as marked on Attachments A and B, and as

described in the Quit Claim Deeds, and;
whereas, Columbus, Georgia, has no other use for aforementioned easements;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to abandon the drainage and

utility easement shown on Attachment A and described in Quit Claim Deed,

located along the rear property line of Lot 9, Block "K" Section Nine, Sears

Woods and the easement shown on Attachment B and described in Quit Claim Deed

along the rear property line of Lot 38, Block "K" Section Ten, Sears Woods,

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, be relinquished to Dr. Edward Matthews.
