A Resolution Authorizing A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO EXTEND THE HEIGHT OF AN EXISTING WIRELESS

COMMUNICATION FACILITY FROM 180 FEET TO 200 FEET FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION

SERVICES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3569 South Lumpkin Road. whereas, Crown Castle International has appropriately applied for a Special Exception

Use, to extend the height of an existing wireless communication facility

(tower) for wireless communication services on property described above; and
whereas, transmission towers for communication towers are permitted solely as a Special

Exception Use under the current C-3 (General Commercial) District; and,


WHEREAS, the Planning Division has reviewed the request and finds that

the criteria of Section 22-26.2(7.D) for approval of a Special Exception Use

have been properly met.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That all the criteria of Section 22-26.2(7.D) have been met.



A Special Exception Use to extend the height of an existing wireless communication

tower from 180 feet to 200 feet for wireless communication service is granted for the property located at 3569 South Lumpkin Road.


Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the _______ day of __________ and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of  _______ members of said Council.
