A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO GRANT A (20 X 38 ft.) EASEMENT TO ATMOS ENERGY CORPORATION

FOR THE USE OF CITY PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE 501 29TH STREET, RECREATION CENTER

A/K/A 015 003 005 IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, the City owns the property at the 29th Street Recreation Center; and,
whereas, Atmos Energy Corporation has requested an easement to lay, maintain, operate,

remove or replace a pipeline on the right-of-way; and,

WHEREAS, the easement will not interfere with the current use of the property;

and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the request and recommends the

granting of the easement.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to grant an easement (20 X 38 ft.)

located and running parallel to the south property line-right-of-way of the

(501) 29th Street Recreation Center a/k/a 015 003 005, to Atmos Energy

Corporation for the ingress, egress and regress to said property at no cost to

the City in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia.
