A Resolution Authorizing THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO DANIEL S. BOOTH FOR AN EASEMENT TO THE

PROPERTY BETWEEN RIVER ROAD AND THE RIGHT OF WAY OF NORFOLK SOUTHERN RAILROAD

CONSISTING OF 1,346 SQUARE FEET +/-. whereas, the City has no present or future use for said portions of the easements; and,
whereas, Daniel S. Booth wishes to include the said easement portions with the above

property for the expansion of his business operations; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has checked all easements and approves

abandonment of said portions of the easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to abandon the easement between

River Road and the right of way of Norfolk Southern Railroad and execute a Quit

Claim Deed to Daniel S. Booth for said easement. A copy of said Quit Claim

Deed is attached hereto and by reference made a part of this resolution.
