A Resolution Authorizing A RESOLUTION COVERING ACQUISITION AND CLEARANCE OF RIGHTS-OF-WAY WITH CONTROL
OF FUTURE ENCROACHMENT AND REGULATION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ON HIGHWAY
CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ALONG WITH THE EXECUTION OF A CERTIFICATE OF OWNERSHIP
AND A MAINTENANCE PROJECT CSSTP-0006-00(472), P.I. #0006472 MUSCOGEE, EASTERN
CONNECTOR (FROM RED ARROW TO CHATTSWORTH ROAD) 1.16 MILES. whereas, the Department of Transportation in cooperation with Columbus, Georgia, a
consolidated government desires to construct a new road; Easter Connector
Federal Aid Project No.CSSTP-0006-00(472) in Columbus, Georgia; and,
whereas, the project will extend wholly within the corporate limits of Columbus,
Georgia, under the laws of the State of Georgia; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to execute a Certificate of Ownership
and Maintenance Agreement with the Department of Transportation on Project
CSSTP-0006-004(472) Muscogee; and,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Certificate of
Ownership, Maintenance Agreement and subsequent agreements necessary to
implement the project with the Georgia Department of Transportation on Project
CSSTP-0006-004(472) Muscogee, Eastern Connector construction of 1.16 miles.
