A Resolution Authorizing THE EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED TO BEN BILLINGS FOR 0.534 ACRES OF RIGHT OF

WAY ON BLACKMON ROAD. whereas, the City has no present or future use for certain portions of the right of way

of Blackmon Road (see attached);and,
whereas, Ben Billings wishes to include the said right of way portion to revert back to

him, being the original and adjoining property owner of said property; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has approved abandonment of said portion of

right of way subject to all existing easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to abandon said portion of the right

of way on Blackmon Road and execute a Quit Claim Deed to Ben Billings (the

adjoining property owner) __________
