A Resolution Authorizing APPROVAL FOR THE TRANSFER, DELETION AND ACCEPTANCE OF PROPERTY BY THE CITY. whereas, certain street segments (remnants) have been deleted from the "Official Street

Map, Columbus, Georgia" and having declared surplus and authorizing the

disposal; and,
whereas, the City will accept (remnants) of Veterans Parkway and 5th Avenue, as

described in an Agenda Report dated 05/27/03; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept and dispose of those

remnants as described.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to declare certain streets segments

(remnants) as surplus and be deleted from the "Official Street Map, Columbus,

Georgia" and that the property is to be sold to the adjacent property owner and

further resolves that the remnants along Veterans Parkway and 5th Avenue to

make the right-of-way consistent, be accepted by the City.
