A Resolution Authorizing THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO SILVERADO DRIVE, SANTEE COURT, THAT PORTION OF
SONOMA POINTE DRIVE AND THAT PORTION OF SUN VALLEY DRIVE LOCATED IN SECTION
FOUR, SONOMA POINTE ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA. whereas, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying Silverado Drive, Santee
Court, that portion of Sonoma Pointe Drive and that portion of Sun Valley Drive
located in Section Four, Sonoma Pointe, a full description of said property
shown on said deed; and,
whereas, said street has been improved and meets the required specifications for
acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends
acceptance of same.
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to issue certain deed dated
the 1st day of November, 2005, conveying to Columbus, Georgia all of Silverado
Drive, Santee Court, that portion of Sonoma Pointe Drive and that portion of
Sun Valley Drive located in Section Four, Sonoma Pointe, be and the same is
hereby accepted. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to have said deed
recorded in the Office of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Columbus,
Georgia. A copy of said deed is hereto attached and by this reference made a
part of this resolution.
