A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH FOUNDATION

PROPERTIES AND W.C. BRADLEY CO. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FRONT AVENUE

PARKING GARAGE. whereas, in connection with the streetscapes project and the development of student

housing in the 1000 Block of Broadway approximately 523 parking spaces is

needed; and,
whereas, the City, W.C. Bradley Co., and Foundation Properties have developed a

Memorandum of Understanding that will provide the funding and the management of

the deck.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to enter

into a Memorandum of Understanding, with the Foundation Properties and W.C.

Bradley Co. as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding that provides for

the funding and management of the parking deck.
