A Resolution Authorizing THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO VIRGINIA P. AVERETT FOR THE 0.019-ACRE

DEAD END RIGHT-OF-WAY AT THE END OF WOODCREST DRIVE LOCATED IN COLUMBUS,

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA . whereas, the city owns a 0.019 acre dead end right-of-way on Woodcrest Drive; and,
whereas, the City has no present or future use for the above described dead end

right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, Virginia P. Averett wishes to include said 0.019 acre dead end

right-of-way with her adjoining property, and;



WHEREAS, the coordinating departments have checked the roadway and

approve abandonment of the above said portion on Woodcrest Drive.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized by the Council of Columbus, to

execute said Quit Claim Deed to Virginia P. Averett for the 0.019 acre dead end

right-of-way on Woodcrest Drive. A copy of said Quit Claim Deed is also hereto

attached and by reference made a part of this Resolution.
