A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO GRANT AN EASEMENT TO PUBLIC SERVICE TELEPHONE COMPANY

LOCATED IN LAND LOT 68 WITHIN 9TH LAND DISTRICT OF MUSCOGEE COUNTY. whereas, the City owns property currently used as a detention pond for the Beaver Run

Subdivision located along Beaver Run Road behind 6501 Mink Drive; and,
whereas, Public Service Telephone Company has requested an easement for installation of

fiber optic cable; and
WHEREAS, installation of the cable will not interfere with the current use of

the property.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to grant an easement to Public Service Telephone Company located in Land Lot 68 within 9th Land District of Muscogee County which is used as a detention pond for the Beaver Run Subdivision located along Beaver Run Road behind 6501 Mink Drive.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the 19th day of November, 2002 and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of   members of said Council.
