A Resolution Authorizing THE ACCEPTANCE OF A PASS-THROUGH GRANT FROM THE GOVERNOR'S EMERGENCY FUND IN
THE AMOUNT OF $10,000 TO ASSIST WITH CONSTRUCTION OF A BATHHOUSE AT CAMP ROBERT
LEWIS IN FORTSON AND AMEND THE MULTI-GOVERNMENTAL FUND BY A LIKE AMOUNT. whereas, Columbus, as the local government agency, is the conduit for certain grants
appropriated by the Governor's Office for community service agencies; and,
whereas, upon acceptance of the grant agreement and execution of contract, Columbus
Consolidated Government will receive funds and then process payment to Camp
Robert Lewis.
1. That the the grant agreement, subsequent contracts and funds be processed by Columbus Consolidated Government for Camp Robert Lewis as appropriated by the Governor's Office.
2. That the Mayor, City Manager, and other officials of Columbus Consolidated Government are authorized to take such actions as required to satisfy the grant conditions.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the day of and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
