A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT DONATED PROPERTY AT 26 MELOY DRIVE AND TO DECLARE

SAID PROPERTY AS SURPLUS IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, the owner would like the City to accept the property as a donation, and;
whereas, the subject property is 9430 +/- sq. ft. and is zoned R-2; and,
WHEREAS, it is the best interest of the Consolidated Government of Columbus,

Georgia to acquire the property, declare the property as surplus and sell the

property to return it to the tax rolls.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to:

1. Accept donated property at 26 Meloy Drive, a/k/a 091 013 002 in Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia;

2. Declare said property as surplus; and,

3. File all deeds associated with said property with the Clerk of Superior

Court for permanent record.
