A Resolution Authorizing THE TRANSFER OF 4.5 ACRES OF CITY PROPERTY AT 1825 VICTORY DRIVE A/K/A

022-001-002 TO THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF COLUMBUS (AUTHORITY). whereas, the City will convey ownership of 4.5 +/- acres along Victory Drive to the

Development Authority of Columbus; and,
whereas, the Authority will work with the prospect to solidify financing for the

construction of a 30,000 +/- square foot facility. The Authority will lease

the building to the prospect for promotion of economic development; and,

WHEREAS, the property is valued at $675,000. The property will be transferred

to the Authority at no cost to allow for the development of an economic

incentives package; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Consolidated Government of

Columbus, Georgia to transfer 4.5 +/- acres to the Development Authority of

Columbus.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer 4.5 +/- Acres of City

property at 1825 Victory Drive a/k/a 022-001-002 to the Development Authority

of Columbus.
