A Resolution Authorizing THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO LAKE BOTTOM PROPERTIES, LLC FOR EASEMENTS

ON THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 2006 AND 2010 NEWTON STREET (PARCEL 1517) NEAR THE

CORNER OF VETERANS PARKWAY. whereas, the City has no present or future use for said portions of the easements; and,
whereas, Lake Bottom Properties, LLC wishes to include the said easement portions with

the above adjoining properties, to construct a building on said properties;

and,
WHEREAS, all public utilities have sent written confirmation stating

they have no use for the easements; and,



WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has checked all easements and

approves abandonment of said portions of the easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to abandon easements at 2006 and 2010 Newton Street (Parcel 1517) near the corner of Veterans Parkway and execute a Quit Claim Deed to Lake Bottom Properties, LLC for said easements. A copy of said Quit Claim Deed is attached hereto and by reference made a part of this resolution.
