A Resolution Authorizing THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO LONESOME PINE DRIVE, WHITE PINE DRIVE, A PORTION
OF SOUTHLAKE DRIVE, A PORTION OF LONESOME PINE COURT, A PORTION OF SLASH PINE
DRIVE AND A PORTION OF TALL PINE COURT, LOCATED IN SECTIONS THREE AND FOUR,
GARRETT PINES whereas, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying Lonesome Pine Drive,
White Pine Drive, a portion of Southlake Drive, a portion of Lonesome Pine
Court, a portion of Slash Pine Drive and a portion of Tall Pine Court, located
in Sections Three and Four, Garrett Pines, a full description of said property
shown in said deed; and,
whereas, said streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for
acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends
acceptance of same.
That the Interim City Manager is hereby authorized to issue certain deed dated
the 1st day of February, 2005, conveying to Columbus, Georgia all of Lonesome
Pine Drive, White Pine Drive, a portion of Southlake Drive, a portion of
Lonesome Pine Court, a portion of Slash Pine Drive and a portion of Tall Pine
Court, located in Sections Three and Four, Garrett Pines be and the same hereby
accepted. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded
in the Office of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Columbus, Georgia. A
copy of said deed is hereto attached and by this reference made a part of this
resolution.
