A Resolution Authorizing THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO MURRAY JONES, FOR A 10 FT X 400 FT ALLEY
LOCATED ALONG THE REAR PROPERTY OF 3117 (A/K/A 222 32ND STREET), 3111, 3103,
AND 3021 3RD AVENUE AS SEEN ON ATTACHED TAX MAP IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA. whereas, the City owns a 10-ft. alley, of which the property owners across from said
they have no present or future use for the above alley; and,
whereas, the City has no present or future use of said portions of the alley; and,
WHEREAS, Murray Jones wishes to include said portions of the alley; and,
WHEREAS, all public utilities have sent written confirmation stating they have
no use for this alley.
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to abandon a 10ft X 400ft portion of
an alley located at the rear of 3021, 3103 3111 and 3117 3rd Avenue, (3117 is
also know as 222 32nd Street) and execute a Quit Claim Deed to Murray Jones for
said properties. A copy of said Quit Claim Deed is also hereto attached and by
reference made a part of this Resolution.
