A Resolution Authorizing THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY AT 0 GARFIELD DRIVE A/K/A 114-022-013 TO CONSTRUCT

A RADIO TRANSMISSION TOWER TO REPLACE THE CURRENT TOWER THAT NO LONGER MEETS

THE NEEDS OF THE CITY. whereas, a radio transmission tower is needed by the City; and,
whereas, the property is available based on the topography of the area; and,
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has preliminarily approved

pending soil testing; and,

WHEREAS, it has been determined the value of the property at $6,000.00 is fair.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase the property at 0

Garfield Drive for the total purchase price of $6,000.00 with funding for the

radio transmission being 0554 200 2441 7611 CBA 4022120030 and file the deeds

with Superior Court Clerk for permanent record.
