A Resolution Authorizing A SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO ALLOW AMUSEMENTS, RECREATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT

ACTIVITIES (PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES) CARRIED ON WHOLLY

WITHIN A PERMANENTLY ENCLOSED BUILDING SOLELY AS A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE,

EXCLUDING ADULT MOVIE HOUSES, ADULT BOOKSTORES, AND ANY ADULT ENTERTAINMENT, AT

5000 BURNHAM BOULEVARD, BUILDING 3. whereas, Kathy Oates has appropriately applied for a Special Exception Use to allow

amusements, recreational and entertainment activities (professional wrestling

and associated activities) carried on wholly within a permanently enclosed

building solely as a Special Exception Use, excluding adult movie houses, adult

bookstores, and any adult entertainment activity, at the above location; and,
whereas, amusements, recreational and entertainment activities (professional wrestling

and associated activities) carried on wholly within a permanently enclosed

building solely as a Special Exception Use, excluding adult movie houses, adult

bookstores, and any adult entertainment activity, is a permitted use under the

current M-1 (Light Manufacturing) District.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That a Special Exception Use allowing amusements, recreational and

entertainment activities (professional wrestling and associated activities)

carried on wholly within a permanently enclosed building solely as a Special

Exception Use, excluding adult movie houses, adult bookstores, and any adult

entertainment activity, be granted for the property located at 5000 Burnham

Boulevard, Building 3.
