A Resolution Authorizing TO DECLARE PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING SALE OF 2819 THOMAS STREET A/K/A

050-017-007 LOCATED IN MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, the Consolidated Government of Columbus acquired the above described property

in 1983 and no longer has any future use or plans for the property; and,
whereas, it is in the best interest of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia

to sell the property as surplus and for bid; and,
WHEREAS, the property will be advertised for sale in accordance with Section

7-501 of the City Code.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to declare the property identified

on Tax Map 050 017 007, located at 2819 Thomas Street as surplus and authorize

the execution of all documents necessary to sell said property at fair market

value.
