A Resolution Authorizing THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CERTIFICATE OF OWNERSHIP AND AGREEMENT WITH THE GEORGIA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE PATCHING AND RESURFACING OF 18.177 +/-
MILES OF CITY STREETS UNDER THE LOCAL ASSISTANCE ROAD PROGRAM (L.A.R.P.)
IDENTIFIED AS PROJECT NO. LAU-32-8531-4(215), LAU32-8531-6(215), PR 8530-5(215)
AND ADDITIONAL PR PROJECT FOR PATCHING, MUSCOGEE COUNTY. whereas, the Department of Transportation has offered a Contract for the patching and
resurfacing of 18.177 +/- miles on thirty-five (35) streets under Project. No.
LAU-32-8531-4(215), LAU-32-8531-6(215), PR8530-5(215) and an additional PR
Project for Patching Agreements; and,
whereas, it is recommended that Council authorize the Mayor to execute the Certificate
of Ownership and Agreements with the Georgia Department of Transportation.
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Certificate of Ownership and Agreements and subsequent agreements necessary to implement these projects with the Georgia Department of Transportation for patching and resurfacing of 18.177 +/- miles on thirty-five (35) City streets in Columbus, Georgia under Project No. LAU-32-8531-4(215), LAU-32-8531-6(215), PR 8530-5(215) and an additional PR Project for Patching Agreements.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the 22nd day of January, 2002 and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of ______________ members of said Council.
