- Twenty-one (21) property owners within 300 feet were notified of the rezoning
request. The Planning Division did not receive any comments concerning this
rezoning request.
- Additional Information
- This area has been identified by the Planning Division as an area in
transition. The current future land-use designation for the area is Low
Density Residential. Staff has identified the area as being amended to Medium
Density Residential. Many of the lots in the area are over 1acre but have R-3
size homes (@ 1,200 SF) located on the properties. When these properties
become available, the trend in the area is to request higher densities. Due to
the urban nature of the area, Medium Density Residential is a reasonable
transition.
