Subject: Special Exception Use application has been received - 910 and 914 Neil Drive

On October 13, 2004, Johnny Daffin, of Daffin?s Meat Processing, submitted a
Special Exception Use application to operate service operations such as meat
storage, cutting and distribution, on 0.30 acre of properties located at 910
and 914 Neil Drive. The property is zoned C-3 (General Commercial). This type
of use is allowed only as a special exception use in a C-3 zone.
Attached is a map showing the location of the properties. Planning Division
staff is currently reviewing the request. We project the request will be on
Council=s November 9th agenda. A staff report will be sent to the Clerk of
Council prior to the Council meeting date.
