On August 30, 2004, Claude Mooneyham submitted a Special Exception Use
application to establish and operate a day care center on 2.82 acres located at
5304 Hurst Drive. The site is pending rezoning from R-1 (Low Density
Residential) to R-3A (Medium Density Residential) Zoning District. This type
of use is allowed only as a special exception use in a R-3A zoning district.
Attached is a map showing the location of the property. Planning Division
staff is currently reviewing the request. The applicant?s request will be
placed on the Columbus Council Agenda for Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at 9:00
am. A staff report will be sent to the Clerk of Council prior to the Council
meeting date.
