On July 23, 2004, Gabriel Jones submitted a Special Exception Use application
to establish and operate a day care center on 0.42 acres located at 4347 Macon
Road. The site is pending rezoning from R-1A (Low Density Residential) to R-3
(Medium Density Residential) Zoning District. This type of use is allowed
only as a special exception use in a R-3 zoning district.
Attached is a map showing the location of the property. Planning Division
staff is currently reviewing the request. The applicant?s request will be
placed on the Columbus Council Agenda for Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at 9:00 am.
A staff report will be sent to the Clerk of Council prior to the Council
meeting date.
