On November 22, 2004, Michael Raia of Global Signal Services, LLC submitted a
Special Exception Use application to transfer ownership of all leasehold
interest for a wireless communications facility (WCF) and equipment compound at
1625 North Industrial Boulevard. Pinnacle Towers, LLC currently has ownership
of the leasehold interest and improvements attached to the existing wireless
communications facility. Global Signal Services, LLC would like to transfer
all leasehold interest and improvements (including the wireless communications
tower) and acquire ownership of the leasehold interest assigned to this site.
This type of use is allowed only as a special exception use in a M-1 (Light
Manufacturing) zoning district.
Attached is a map illustrating the location of the property. Planning
Division staff is currently reviewing the request. The applicant?s request
will be placed on the Columbus Council Agenda for Tuesday, January 4, 2004 at
5:30
pm. A staff report will be sent to the Clerk of Council prior to the council
meeting date.
