NO.



WHEREAS, the Columbus Northern Little League Senior Girls Softball All-Stars

recently won the 2004 District 8 Championship;



WHEREAS, the Northern Little League Senior Girls Softball All-Stars won the

District 8 Tournament with a record of 3-0 and defeated Sally twice by scores

of 21-1 and 18-6, and defeated Pioneer 21-1;



WHEREAS, this team's accomplishments are worthy of special recognition by this

Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate the following Columbus Northern Little

League Senior Girls Softball All-Stars upon their victory in the 2004 District

8 Championship: Manager A.C. Wright and Coaches Ashleigh Wright, Cindy Preston,

and Ted Preston, and Players Megan Brown, Ashley Brummett, Crystal Cosby,

Jessie Ginter, Megan Golden, Jessica Harris, Nydia Hernandez, Jackie Hudson,

Niki Kleto, Christy Preston, Lori Renner, Cori Rigdon, and Sasha Rivera.

Columbus is truly proud of this team?s hard work and dedication and we wish

them every success in the future.
