A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Girl Scouts of Concharty Council, Inc. has recently recognized the
2002 Women of Achievement for the Columbus area;
WHEREAS, local recipients of the Women of Achievement award are Stephanie
Alford, Patricia Cardin, Carolyn Ellis, Earnestine Ezekiel, Brenda Jackson,
Sharon Jamison, Kayron Laska, Kathy Riley, Suzanne Saunders, and Connie Warner;
WHEREAS, all of these women have contributed much to the Columbus community
through their professions and their community service;
WHEREAS, these women have provided strong positive role models for all girls in
the Columbus community and their achievements are worthy of special recognition
by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We commend and congratulate Stephanie Alford, Patricia Cardin, Carolyn Ellis,
Earnestine Ezekiel, Brenda Jackson, Sharon Jamison, Kayron Laska, Kathy Riley,
Suzanne Saunders, and Connie Warner who have been recently selected as the 2002
Women of Achievement by the Girl Scouts of Concharty Council, Inc. Their
professional excellence and dedicated community service serve as a shining
example for all girls in the Columbus community. Let a copy of this resolution
be forwarded to each recipient.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
14th day of May, 2002, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
