A RESOLUTION

No.



WHEREAS, the Georgia Power Company is working on various wiring projects in

Columbus, including a project in the Liberty Heritage District;



WHEREAS, above-ground wiring detracts from the beauty and the architecture of a

particular district;



WHEREAS, this Council desires that the Georgia Power Company utilize

underground wiring wherever practical in Columbus, particularly in the Liberty

Heritage District.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby respectfully request that the Georgia Power Company utilize

underground wiring in Columbus projects, particularly in the Liberty Heritage

District. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Columbus District

Manager of the Georgia Power Company.
