AN ORDINANCE



AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGETS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2005 BEGINNING JULY 1,

2004 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2005, FOR CERTAIN FUNDS OF THE CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT

OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, APPROPRIATING AMOUNTS SHOWN IN EACH FUND FOR PERSONNEL

ACTIONS AND VARIOUS OTHER ACTIVITIES.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:



SECTION I



1. The General Fund budget in the amount of $123,329,535 for the fiscal year

beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005, is hereby adjusted for each

department for the reasons listed on the attached charts.



2. The 1993 Sales Tax Fund budget in the amount of $0 for the fiscal year

beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 is hereby amended and increased

$4,506,202 to $4,506,202 for reasons listed on the attached charts.



3. The 1999B Lease Revenue Bond Fund budget in the amount of $0 for the

fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 is hereby amended

and increased $1,583,501 to $1,583,501 for reasons listed on the attached

charts.



4. The 2000 G. O. Sales Tax Bond Fund budget in the amount of $0 for the

fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 is hereby amended

and increased $974,950 to $974,950 for reasons listed on the attached

charts.



5. The 2004 Lease Revenue Bond Fund budget in the amount of $0 for the fiscal

year beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 is hereby amended and

increased $73,840 to $73,840 for reasons listed on the attached charts.



6. The Hotel/Motel Tax Fund budget in the amount of $1,368,556 for the fiscal

year beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 is hereby amended and

increased $298,131 to $1,666,687 for reasons listed on the attached charts.



7. The Employee Health & Insurance Fund budget in the amount of $15,387,250

for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 is hereby

amended and increased $333,758 to $15,721,008 for reasons listed on the

attached charts.



8. The Trade Center Fund budget in the amount of $1,810,549 for the fiscal

year beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 is hereby amended and

increased $7,009 to $1,817,558 for reasons listed on the attached charts.



9. The Civic Center Fund budget in the amount of $4,472,458 for the fiscal

year beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 is hereby amended and

increased $149,068 to $4,621,526 for reasons listed on the attached charts.



SECTION II



All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are

hereby repealed.



Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus,

Georgia, held on the 6th day of September, 2005; introduced a second time at a

regular meeting held on the _____Day of _________, 2005 and adopted at said

meeting by the affirmative vote of _____ members of said Council.
