An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 5151 and 5163 McCaghren Drive, from R-1 (Low Density Residential)

District to R-3 (Medium Density Residential) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-1 (Low Density

Residential) District to R-3 (Medium Density Residential) District:



All those lots, tracts or parcels of land situate, lying and being in Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia, and being known and designated as ALL OF PARCELS B

and C, as said lots are shown on that certain map or plat entitled ?Odom

Property, Part of Land Lots 4 & 5, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia?, prepared by French & Associates, under date of April 17, 1984, and

recorded in Plat Book 88, Folio 3, of the records in the Office of the Clerk of

the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which plat reference is made

for a more complete and accurate description of the property herein conveyed.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:



No more than five lots shall be allowed on the property subject to rezoning.

The Assistant Director of Engineering shall review or suggest lot configuration

to address flood control issues before final plat approval.
