An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at the southwest corner of Comer Avenue and Center Street, from A-O

(Apartment-Office) District to C-2 (Neighborhood Shopping) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from A-O

(Apartment-Office) District to C-2 (Neighborhood Shopping) District:



All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Rose Hill

Annex, in the City of Columbus in Mechanicsville and being part of Lots 26 and

27, contained and embraced within the following boundary lines:



COMMENCING at a point made by the intersection of the South line of Center

Street with the West line of Comer Avenue and from said beginning point running

thence westerly along the South side of Center Street, 140 feet; thence running

South 27 degrees 45 minutes East, 100 feet; thence North 63 degrees 34 minutes

East, 141 feet to the westerly line of Comer Avenue; thence running North 27

degrees 45 minutes West along the West line of Comer Avenue, 100 feet to the

point of beginning.

The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:



The property shall be used for medical offices only.
