A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING RENAISSANCE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM'S SUBMISSION
OF A GRANT TO THE GEORGIA CHILDREN & YOUTH COORDINATING COUNCIL FOR $50,000,
FOR JUVENILE JUSTICE COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT/OUTREACH PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, funds have been made available from the Georgia Children & Youth
Coordinating Council for the purpose of juvenile justice programs; and,
WHEREAS, Renaissance will provide the collaborative framework for measurable
outcomes as a result of programs implemented for juvenile justice programs; and,
WHEREAS, this process will provide a coordinated juvenile justice delinquency;
and,
WHEREAS, Renaissance will apply for $50,000 that does not require any matching
funds; and,
WHEREAS, the Columbus Children Youth & Family Coalition has reviewed and
supports the submission of this application.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
That the Council hereby supports the Renaissance Personal Development Program's
grant application for $50,000 from the State of Georgia Children's & Youth
Coordinating Council Juvenile Justice Community Enrichment/Outreach Program.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia,
held the _______day of ______________, 2004 and adopted at said meeting by the
affirmative vote of _______ members of said Council.
