AN ORDINANCE

An Ordinance amending Ordinance #00-96 that amended certain

boundaries of a district located off of Veterans Parkway, east of Cooper Creek

Road (currently known as 8400 Veterans Parkway). The purpose of this amendment

is to amend condition number 2 and add a new condition number 5.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That Ordinance Number 00-96 is hereby amended by deleting condition

number 2 and replacing it with a new condition number 2; and Ordinance Number

00-96 is further amended by adding an additional condition number 5 to read as

follows:



"2. Access to Franklin Drive / Cooper Creek Road shall be denied until such

time as adequate site distance as determined by the traffic engineer is cleared

by the applicant or the applicant's agent on the southwest side of the

intersection of Veterans Parkway and Cooper Creek Road. Such area shall be

maintained and kept clear by the applicant or the applicant's agent or any

successor in title of the applicant until such time as a traffic signal is

installed at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Cooper Creek Road.



5. Access to Franklin Drive / Cooper Creek Road shall be

restricted to construction traffic only until such time as a traffic signal is

installed at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Cooper Creek Road."
