A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 563-04 authorized the City Manager to enter a

memorandum of understanding for a lease agreement with Foundations Properties,

Inc. for property located at 1015 Broadway to be used as student housing for

Columbus State University;



WHEREAS, the memorandum of understanding was entered on December 21,

2004 and the lease agreement between Columbus, Georgia and Foundation

Properties, Inc. and a confirmation letter for Columbus Bank and Trust Company

are ready for execution as attached.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached ground lease with

Foundation Properties, Inc. at annual rental of $120.00 per year for thirty

years and the attached confirmation letter for Columbus Bank and Trust Company

regarding said ground lease.
