An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 1101 19th Street, from A-O (Apartment-Office) District to C-3

(General Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from A-O

(Apartment-Office) District to C-3 (General Commercial) District:



All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the City of

Columbus, County of Muscogee, State of Georgia, and being known and

distinguished as Lot Number Nine (9) in Block Number Eight (8) of the FIRST

ADDITION TO EAST HIGHLANDS SUBDIVISION and being more particularly described as

follows:



BEGINNING at an iron pin at the northeast point of the intersection of 19th

Street and 11th Avenue and running from said point North 02 degrees 30

minutes West, a distance of 142.5 feet to an iron pin; running thence North 87

degrees 30 minutes East along the south margin of a fifteen foot alley, 50 feet

to an iron pin; running thence South 02 degrees 30 minutes East, 142.5 feet to

a drill hole in concrete coping; running thence South 87 degrees 30 minutes

West along the north margin of 19th Street, a distance of 50 feet back to the

point of beginning.





The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:



1. All lighting shall be directed internally using deflector shields.

2. No external trash dumpsters / compactors shall be located along the property

lines bordered by residential zoning districts.
