A RESOLUTION

No.



WHEREAS, the Columbus High School girls golf team recently won the Class AAA

state championship at the Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Georgia;



WHEREAS, the Lady Blue Devils beat Oconee County by four strokes to take the

title;



WHEREAS, the championship marks the sixth state title for the Lady Blue Devils

in seven years;



WHEREAS, the Lady Blue Devils? accomplishments are worthy of special

recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate the following Columbus High School Lady Blue

Devils golf team members upon winning the Class AAA state championship at the

Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Georgia: Patricia Kim, Carol So,

Latasha Hinton and Head Coach John Drew and Assistant Coach Joe McDaniel. Let a

copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the above-named participants.
