WHEREAS, AFLAC, Incorporated of Columbus has been named by Fortune magazine as

No. 57 of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in America;



WHEREAS, AFLAC has appeared on the ?Best Companies? list for six consecutive

years;



WHEREAS, Fortune's list was compiled through extensive research, analysis and a

poll of employees nationwide;



WHEREAS, AFLAC employees more than 3,700 people in the United States with most

of them working in Columbus.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We commend and congratulate AFLAC, Incorporated and all of its employees upon

being recognized by Fortune magazine as No. 57 of the 100 Best Companies to

Work For in America. Columbus is truly proud of AFLAC, Incorporated and we

wish these employees every success in the future. Let a copy of this

resolution be forwarded to AFLAC, Incorporated President Kriss Cloninger III.
