An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 7515 Cooper Creek Road, from R-1A (Low Density Residential) District

to C-3 (General Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-1A (Low Density

Residential) District to C-3 (General Commercial) District:



Commencing at the northeast corner of Moon Road and Knology Way and running

239.74 feet to an iron pin located on the north side of Knology Way; thence

running N 00 degrees 57 minutes 19 seconds E a distance of 147.82 feet to an

iron pin which marks the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence running N 05 degrees 30

minutes 06 seconds E a distance of 94.71 feet to an iron pin; thence running S

89 degrees 40 minutes 51 seconds E a distance of 547.38 feet to an iron pin;

thence running S 07 degrees 27 minutes 37 seconds West a distance of 177.06

feet to an iron pin; thence running S 75 degrees 47 minutes 13 seconds West a

distance of 144.09 feet to an iron pin; thence running N 73 degrees 05 minutes

17 seconds W a distance of 411.50 feet to an iron pin which marks the POINT OF

BEGINNING.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:



1. All lighting shall be deflected internally using deflector shields.

2. Screening for trash dumpsters / compactors, air conditioners, refrigeration

units, and heat pumps shall be required for all development on the property.
