WHEREAS, the Budget Review Committee has completed its work on the 2002-2003

Budget for the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia;



WHEREAS, Councilor Evelyn Pugh served as Chairperson of the Committee,

performing above and beyond the duty of Chairperson and member of the Budget

Review Committee;



WHEREAS, under the leadership of Councilor Pugh, the members of the Committee

effectively and efficiently reviewed and completed their work on the Fiscal

Year 2002-2003 Budget within the scheduled time.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We wish to commend Councilor Evelyn Pugh for her outstanding

leadership and dedicated service and for the professional manner in which she

served as Chairperson of the Budget Review Committee for the Fiscal Year

2002-2003.
